Body Balance
You need a stable platform from which you can make a consistent stroke and minimize errors.
Take a balanced stance at setup with your weight evenly distributed between both feet and between your heels and toes of each foot.
This is what nature prefers as it is stress free and easily repeatable without too much thought.
Trying to distribute you weight differently, other than perfectly balanced will introduce inconsistent loading and a source of unnecessary errors.
Being balanced is a good thing most of the time in our lives as well as when putting.
This is one of the many steps outlined in “The Fundamentals of Putting”
